Randomonium Is the Best Band in the Region
I was part of a massive crowd at the Peace Center Ampitheatre on the Reedy River for the Randomonium show on 11.9.24 for Fall for Greenville.
I first saw this exceptional, highly talented show band a few years ago at Fall for Greenville. I spotted a huge crowd watching a show during the Fest. I was thinking that this must have been the Rolling Stones, given how gigantic the crowd was.
I instead learned it was not the Stones, but this "Randomonium" band I had not heard of previously. That serendipitous experience convinced me that this was the best band in the region, and I've sought out their shows ever since.
Earlier in that Fall for Greenville week, I had noticed they were scheduled to play at the low-visibility Peace Center ampitheatre, and I worried they'd therefore have a low turnout. What I failed to realize is that tens of thousands of others in the region also are convinced the band is worth seeking out.
This photo I shot above during the show exemplifies their well-deserved popularity. When you visit us in Greenville, I hope to treat you to one of their shows.
One or more Randomonium band members spotted this post of mine above and decided to engage me in a back-and-forth compliments conversation:
Randomonium: We can’t thank you enough for these extremely kind words. We have been so blessed over the years to meet so many supportive and amazing people like you who care about music as much as we do! Truly, thank you for this!
Dom: Thank you for your kind, flattering note. May Randomonium Live Long and Prosper. As you can see from the attached, in my former life as a college student at Northern AZ University in Flagstaff in 1981, I was an air-guitar rock star (in part because I am an adrenalin junkie). So I know good show bands when I see them.
Sadly, even though my Dad (who loved and played Jimmie Rodgers)
tried to teach me to play guitar, I did not have the patience to learn to play a real guitar. 🙁
Randomonium: Dom Nozzi man, you just made our whole year with this post!
Dom Nozzi: Randomonium you have no idea how happy I am to hear that. Your show last night was the best I've seen all year. Here's to your next show being your best ever!
Randomonium: Dom Nozzi awww, now that's high bar... but I like it!!!
Dom Nozzi: Randomonium when a person looks up You Guys Rock in the dictionary, there's a photo of your band.
